Have a look at this year’s stages at Tomorrowland Winter 2024
You’ve been to a festival before, but Tomorrowand Winter doesn’t look like anything you’ve seen so far.
There are stages spread in the valleys and on the peaks, as well as in the village of Alpe d’Huez. All the mountain stages can be reached by easier routes as well as ski lifts, so the People of Tomorrow can go anywhere you like even if you’re new to skiing.
Have a look at all stages below:
MainStage
The absolute highlight is of course Tomorrowland’s magnificent MainStage. You may remember this year’s theme, Amoricum Spectaculum, from 2017’s Belgium edition. It is a tale about getting together with the people you love the most – and among them may be brand-new friends you’ve never met before.
This world-class stage is by far the biggest venue in the Alps – it is no less than 50 metres wide and reaches a staggering 15 metres up into the sky.
CORE
CORE’s majestic visage – the upward-facing beacon of serenity you may have seen at Tomorrowland Belgium or in one of the many videos online – is now amidst the winter wonderland that is Alpe d’Huez.
Seeing this stage in real life in this wholly different setting is something else. Some of the best leftfield club sounds by the likes of DJ Boring, Nina Kraviz and Dino Lenny are programmed here.
Cage
Are you into classic gritty clubs? Cage is the go-to underground techno club in the snowy French Alps, serving a wide range of ravers. Think lots of darkness with a little light effect here and there to enhance the mystery of it all. Skillful DJs playing pounding beats at Cage include Yves De Ruyter, Laidback Luke and Sub Zero Project.
Moose Bar
Dedicated après-ski ravers will remember this bar from their wildest dreams. Or: from previous Tomorrowland editions. Here’s the deal: it’s Tyroler vibes looks-wise, lots of beer booze-wise and the best party-minded electronic music sound-wise. Disclaimer: the music may come with a little silly twist here and there. Think house, hardstyle or EDM with odd sound effects, played by dedicated selectors of silliness including Funkhauser and Jeroen Visser.
Crystal Garden
All the way from Tomorrowland’s Terra Solis in Dubai to the Alps comes the gorgeous LED-fueled decor pieces that bring Crystal Garden to life. With a capacity for no less than 4000 ravers, Crystal Garden is the largest Tomorrowland Winter stage at the higher altitudes.
This is raving with your sunglasses on, a mulled wine in your hand, overlooking the valley of Alpe d’Huez and beyond.
Frozen Lotus
A gorgeous stage that symbolises the very early beginnings of spring, Frozen Lotus shows how nature and the seasons are part of an ongoing continuum; the fact that flowers survive even snow and frost proves that life is strong.
Frozen Lotus is also a gastronomical hub in Alpe d’Huez, where the People of Tomorrow can enjoy a refined lunch, then slowly recover from the food before before starting a dance. The line-up for Frozen Lotus is equally tasty with Konstantin Sibold, Like Mike, Brina Knauss and many others.
The Reflection of Love
2022’s theme, The Reflection of Love, turned out to be one of the most popular ever, and so little bits and pieces of it are back this year in the Alps. A wide range of beats and grooves are programmed such as One World Radio presenter of the first hour AdamK, tropical house don Felix Jaehn, drum & bass producer Andromedik, and Dutch house mavericks Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano.
